What Are Dental Implants?

CEREC has CAD/CAM (Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing) technology. As such, CEREC contains a camera, a computer, and a milling machine.
The dentist will use the camera to take a picture of the surrounding teeth and then use the computer to design the crown. CEREC’s milling machine will carve the crown out of a single block of ceramic material, and the resulting crown will last longer than conventionally-made crowns.
